Program PPSSPP for TWO copies to play multiplayer on ONE PC WITHOUT network?
Is there someone out there who has the knowledge or capability to program PPSSPP to allow connection of two instances of the program on ONE PC to connect to each other without using IP addresses/network?
I find that even with the versions that people have released to allow two instances to connect through the localhost, it still occasionally disconnects and is very unreliable. Is there a way to bypass the IP address requirements altogether? Or even program a version of PPSSPP that automatically starts two instances up that are already connected together, so you only have to run one program? That would be amazing - I’d even be happy to pay for something like that!

PPSSPP new test build for playing online over Ad-hoc
I am posting a new thread because people dont look at the Compatibility list thread.
Here are the builds :
Windows build : https://www.dropbox.com/s/azy0qu88lolu5m...t.zip?dl=0
Android 64 bit build:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xk6wrdql4un4si...4.apk?dl=0
Extract the Windows build files into your PPSSPP folder. and make sure you use the latest PPSSPP version available beforehand.
This new PPSSPP test build got various fixes to the Ad-hoc code which fixes games like Shin Budokai and others.
And it also includes UPNP support ! which allow you to play certain games online without VPN as long as you have UPNP enabled in your router (on by default on most).
Enable UPNP in the networking tab of PPSSPP to have it work (for both players).
Than you could use an Ad-hoc server site like myneighborsushicat.com and put it as the Adhoc ip address.
If not running as adminstrator you would also need the same Port Offset for both players (you could put 1000 as port offset for example) .
You could enjoy games with others by going to the PPSSPP Discord and chatting on the #multiplayer channel there.
Here is the invite link : https://discord.gg/5NJB6dD
Enjoy.

AdHoc Central Server?
I'm looking for info regarding hosting a PSP Adhoc centralized server where people would connect to a central server, can perhaps join a channel or group, chat and then jump into PSP adhoc multiplayer games together. Is this possible?
I've tried out the internal PPSSPP adhoc server and that works great for playing with a friend on your network, but I haven't found any info or software on setting up something like the above mentioned centralized server type setup. Actually, it appears that there are some people who have something similar to what I'm asking about. For example Amultios seems to have the features I mentioned above, but it doesn't seem to offer the files to run one's own PSP adhoc Amultios server.
Anyhow, if anyone can help me figure out if this can be done I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
John

Adhoc Server help
I am trying to host the adhoc server for my friends. The problem is that they live together and both have the same public IP. When they connect to me I can get one of them to join (whoever joins first).
I am assuming that the adhoc server is denying any connections that come from the same IP. Is there a way around this without using external VPN software?

Can find other players with internet box but can't with internet phone sharing
Hello there !
After a lot of try to connect with a friend, we found out what the problem is, but we can't resolve it.
We finally found online players but only one of us could because if we are on the same internet connection, the last one to connect just crash.
So i tried to connect with my phone's internet (with a classic internet share) and then ... doesn't work anymore, i can connect but it never find anyone.
I already looked for answers and found nothing (so i'm sorry if this topic already exists, but i really didn't find).
If someone can help me, that would be great !

MH Freedom Sync Issues?
Has anyone else experienced an issue where you see your friend, he sees you, but neither of you can see the monsters the other is attacking or carving up? I don't recall having this issue years ago, but then again we were playing MH3PHD so I'm not sure if this is a MHF issue or a networking issue.
We have a working tunnel/VPN we can connect to each other when one of us posts a quest. In the game we see each other, can see the moves our characters are making, but it looks like we are fighting nothing and when we go to carve up a kill, the other person sees your character carving thin air.
Is there any settings other than Fast Memory that need to be disabled, or enabled for better multiplay?
Also, as a side note. Shouldn't we be able to play MH without a VPN if I open the proper ports on my hardware firewall? I have opened all the required ports for both the PSP and the 4 or 5 ports for the MH games. I opened up both UDP and TCP for each port, yet that method does not work. I wish it did as I rather use that method than VPN.
Thanks in advance for any info.
PS: Here are the ports I have open when attempting the direct connect without VPN.
PSP: 27312, MHF 10000 and 20001 through 20004 UDP & TCP.

TAG FORCE 3 Multiplayer Not Working/Suggest working tag force games for multiplayer?
Hello! I am new to this forum! I have a concern regarding Yu Gi Oh GX Tag Force 3 multiplayer on ppsspp. I am using version ppsspp 1.1.1-202_AdhocStuff version because the latest version (1.9.3/1.9.4) has issues. I tried solutions already such as setting the port offset to 1100, and enabling wlan and adhoc(for host). My PC and s7 phone works but when i tried my ASUS phone it doesnt work. The ASUS phone always gets this socket error 10051 when it goes to network mode in the game. Can anyone help me? I cant seem to solve this issue until now and I browsed to other forums already.
And do you guys know a yu gi oh tag force game that can play on any ver of ppsspp multiplayer with no issues? I am looking for an alternative if tag force 3 still doesnt work for me.
Any help will do. Thank you!!

PPSSPP Emulator crashes/closes after a Melee/Rendezous match
Greetings!
I recently copied over my Emulator from my MSI Laptop to my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet so I could continue to play during travels. When I try playing online through my tablet, I'm experiencing issues with playing the multiplayer. It revolves around after ever match that has been completed and after choosing the treasure chests, instead of taking me back to the bar like it does normally, the screen stays back for a few seconds and then the Emulator closes immediately after. This never happened on the MSI Laptop and the settings were kept the same during the transfer.
These are my Tablet's basic settings:
Windows 10 Pro
Intel® Core i7-6650U @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Surface
RAM 64.0 GB
64 - Bit Operating system, x64-based processor
This is my MSI Laptop's basic settings:
Windows 10 Pro
Intel® Core i7-6650U @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz Surface
RAM 8.00 GB
64 - Bit Operating system, x64-based processor
I run the latest Emulator of v1.9.
Connection to other players works find and there has never been issues during finding other players. The matches play out smoothly and there isn't any crashing, frame drops, or anything else during play. It is only after the match and returning back to the bar after getting the loot is when the crash occurs.
Troubleshooting so far...
I've tried this site via Google searching: https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/wiki/...s-crashing and this didn't solve the issue.
I'm sure it is somewhere on the settings that is causing it but I'm not sure which ones. Thanks in advance for any help to resolve this issue!
P.S.: I can send images of the Emulator settings if need be. The attachments were too large to post. I can be reached on Discord: SairentoZ7#4373
