Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Hey there,
so me and my friend are very new to PPSSPP however we love the easy interface and have both set up the same version of Force Unleashed PSP. We turned on all the right settings, and as you can see on the attached pic we are both connected to the host (me). However, we also get these errors in the log console (other pic), and I think it's to do with the game's support of PPSSPP's Ad-Hoc system.. We're going to try Battlefront - Renegade Squadron instead soon but it would be awesome if this issue could be fixed!
Thanks a lot,
Darkness
EDIT: Renegade Squadron works!! That confirms nothing's wrong with the emulator, and it's just the game that needs sorting out. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!![Smile Smile]()

can't see each other in lobby but can connect to adhoc server
well like in tittle
was trying to play pc to pc with my cousin (he lives in other town) with no luck
options we did try
1 - direct connection (i have external IP im not behind router or any device any1 is able to connect to my pc from anywhere without any additional software)
2 - direct connection via port forwarding (my cousin have router so he disabled all his firewals antiviruses and router protection AND DID PORT FORWARDING)
3 - hamachi < joining to hamachi host ip
4 - tunngle < joining to tungel host ip
we forwarded all ports for hamachi tungel
game we tested are tekken 6 and street fighter alpha 3 max
we are able to see our IP's when we join adhoc server or when we leave it (the stand alone version of adhoc server) but we cant see each other in lobby
no matter if its built in ppsspp adhoc or that stand alone version effect is always the same
like we joined same server but other room? wtf?
it happens either if im the host either if he is hosting
like nothing from tutorials helped us in any case even reading trough any problem on this forum did not help
so if any 1 have any idea what could be wrong it would be cool

Trying to set up multiplayer with roommate
I'm almost entirely new to this (probably the problem) but me and my roommate have been trying to set up a connection between the PPSSPPs on our computers. I've read the tutorials on Hamachi and followed them as closely as I can. It didn't work. So then we started trying as many things as we could think of (disabling firewalls, attempting to use our computer's IPs, trying to set up a local Ad Hoc on one PC) and it's still not working.
Now the game we've tried the most with has been Phantasy Star Portable 2 and Infinity, but this is mostly for the sake of proving our computers' PPSSPPs can connect so the game in particular doesn't matter to us right now. But as for what in particular is happening (in case it helps narrow down what we're doing wrong) whenever we select Multiplay we simply can't see each other. As in when one of us sets up the party and the other goes to join it the person joining doesn't find a party.
Our computers run Windows 10 and his uses some type of Linux (he's currently unconscious so asking is out of the question). Both computers are connected to the router by wires (this is not a wireless connection if that matters). Our usual attempt is as follows:
+We have the WLAN turned on in the PPSSPP's network settings.
+One of us has the built in Ad Hoc server turned on, the other doesn't.
+We use the IP of the computer hosting the server as the Ad Hoc Pro's IP.
++If we are using Hamachi, we use that IP instead.
+We have different MAC addresses.
+We turn off the firewalls.
+We have fast memory disabled.
+We have the PPSSPP's CPU clock set to 1000
+We have the I/0 Timing set to simulate UMD delays.
+The person hosting starts up the game first and goes into the party form screen.
+The second player starts up their game and goes to join.
And then nothing appears. So are we doing this completely wrong, is there something we're missing that's critical to making this work? Is W10 and Linux incompatible for some reason, is it because we're two computers hooked up locally? Or something else entirely? Or more likely do you need more information because I'm leaving some bit of critical knowledge out due to my own lack of expertise? Any help at all will be appreciated.

Online problem ping
I have mugen game. It works with tunngle and hamachi (which i have tried with Mugen and Tekken 6 PPSSPP emu) . But my friend who plays with me has 500 ping. Lags very much.
But kawaks(neogeo emu) works good with Kaillera.
I have tried 2 ways.
1: Kaillera.
2: Tunngle/hamachi.
Kaillera is a way to play on a server. Masterserverlist. Join any server. You rfriend connects on that server. You host game, and he jons you. Play. We both connect to 1 server(ping mine:200, his ping:250) . Works great.
Tunngle/hamachi do not connect to a server. It is peer-to-peer way of online. My destination is far away from my friend so he gets 500 ping. Mine = 5 ping. Very laggy.

Mutliplayer with 3+ players
Me and my friends have been trying to get mhfu to work for us
I have set up a party with my pals through evolve and have played a few quests as a party of 2. but when i tried initiating anything beyond a party of 2 the 3rd and 4th players get disconnected after the quest loads in. I can play with any of them as a pair but no matter what I've tried i can't seem to get more than 2 actually into the game with me.
our firewalls are off
mac addresses are randomized
mac address value is 0
fast memory is off
Im not quite sure whats causing this inability to connect to more than 1 player

Final Fantasy Tactics WOTL Multi with distant PC doesn't work
Hi guys.
I create a thread because a friend and I have a problem. We can't play multi at Final Fantasy Tactics WOTL with distants PC.
We have try many PPSSPP versions, such as :
- v0.9.9-45
- v1.1.1 202 Adhoc stuff chatSimple
- v1.2.0
with AdhocServerProOnline, or integrated one, with Hamachi and Tunngle.
Nothing worked.
With Hamachi or Tunngle we can ping each other, share files, etc.. The host use 127.0.0.1 and the other use the host's Hamashi's or Tunngle's virtual IP.
AdhocServerProOnline, integrated or not says we are both connected, but ingame we stay in "Searching for a partner" mode and finally it fails.
By the way it works on local mode, with 2 PPSSPP launch on a unique machine.
So if anybody has a solution, we'll be really thankful.

What Ports do you need to forward to host an adhoc server?
I've looked for the answer to this question on all sorts of forums with no luck. It doesn't help that most of the information out there is for an older version of PPSSPP where the adhoc server was a separate program.
Simply put, I need to know what ports need to be forwarded for the adhoc server to work. We are able to get it running using DMZ, but obviously this is super insecure and not advisable long-term. Already, I know that 27312 must be forwarded, or no one can so much as connect to the server, but there are others that are needed or everyone else will instantly get disconnected once a game actually starts.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's Portable: The Gears of Destiny
My friend and I recently tried to get Gears of Destiny working in multiplayer and are encountering an issue. I have attached an image of the error we're encountering, this error occurs for the player selecting the player they're attempting to connect to in versus lobby regardless of who is hosting. Google translate translates it to "Communication error has occurred. It can not be connected with the communication partner."

We're using Evolve which unfortunately has no tutorial currently posted on these forums. (Or I just couldn't find it.) We both have networking/wlan enabled, fast memory and cheats disabled and we've made sure our mac addresses are different. Our firewalls allow both PPSSPP and Evolve through as exceptions as well.
The only thing I can find that I've missed would be the ad hoc server, but I'm kind of assuming the "Enable built-in PRO ad hoc server" option substitutes for that on more recent versions.
This game is listed on the compatibility list for ad hoc, although it's listed as an older version. If possible I would prefer to play on the most recent version but I would be willing to revert if that is found to be necesarry. Any help would be very welcome and please tell me if there is anything I've missed. (This is my first post on these forums and I apologize if anything about this thread bothered anyone)

[Question] Where can I find the AdhocServerProOnline download?
Hi Everyone.
Its been a few years now since I last played PSP games on PPSSPP for Windows. I got the itch to get back to the PSP as I really enjoyed a lot of games on that system. Especially Monster Hunter.![Smile Smile]()
So, I wanted to ask if there is a newer version of the AdhocServerProOnline software that let you run a dedicated server on a separate PC from the one that you ran your PPSSPP emulator on?
The last version of AdhocServerProOnline that I have has a creation date on the file adhocserver.exe of 11/23/2013. Is there a newer version, is this program still used to connect multiple PPSSPP players together? As I mentioned it's been years since I last was using PPSSPP so I lost touch with how things have evolved. I did search the web and these forums but I haven't been able to find any version of AdhocServerProOnline at all.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
John

the ultimate guide to play ad hoc for ANDROID [tuto]
ppsspp is great emulator and of course all credit goes to Henrik .
in version 1.1 b890( and up )a port offest feature
added to ppsspp networking section making many games work in ad hoc (like yu gi oh tag force (1,2,3,4,5,and 6!!!) but losing ability to make connection with the real psp
okey let's go to networking play
the requirements is :
1-ppsspp v 1.1 beta890 and up required
2-wifi hotspot feature or router device
3- that's all you need
---wifi hot spot method (recommended)
1-- turn on hotspot tethering in settings
2-conect the another device to your hotspot network
3-run ppsspp in networking tab change ip (ex 192.168.43.1 both devices must be the same) and don't. forget. to enable networking
4--enable pro ad hoc server (some games have little bugs with this)
5-change port offest to more than 1024
I found 2700 is okay for many games (naruto shipuden impact seem work best on port 8500)
and start the game you like and play with your friends
I hope this theard useful for someone
